Tracking my food (and sticking to my macros) has truly been a game changer for my mood and how I feel overall on a daily basis. Controlling what I put into my body and KNOWING that I am giving my body what it needs to perform optimally, FEEL good, AND reach my goals has helped me with my mental state as well. đđŒPlus when I stress eat, itâs usually crap/junk food that might make me temporarily feel good, but later on I just feel like đ© too. âŁâŁâŁ

âŁâŁâŁWant to start tracking your food? Here's how I'd suggest starting:
- Download a good food tracking app (I use the My Transphormation app)âŁâŁâŁ
âŁ
- Get a calculation of your macros based on your body stats and your goals đȘđŒ (if you need help with this, click here!)âŁâŁâŁ
âŁâŁâŁ
- Log the foods you consume đâ I like to plan out my day ahead of time, but if youâre just starting out, just log it right after you make your mealâŁâŁâŁ
âŁâŁâŁ
- Get a good food scale. đđŒ This makes tracking WAY easier and helps you make sure youâre actually getting accurate serving sizes. Youâd be surprised to see how big a serving of peanut butter actually is when you weigh it out correctly đ If you need a recommendation, let me know!âŁâŁâŁ
âŁâŁâŁ
- See where you need to make adjustments based on your calculated macros âïž. At first it will be very hard to start hitting your macros exactly. To start, I always just recommend tracking to see where youâre at normally and then work to make small adjustments to get you closer to your macro goals! âŁâŁâŁ

The concept itself isnât hard, but it can be confusing when youâre starting out! Donât ever hesitate to reach out if you have questions, or download this app (get the premium version so I can message you!) and I will be in touch shortly! Iâve been tracking my food (off and on) for 5+ years and am more than happy to help you! â€ïžâŁâŁâŁ
